Need help editing textures for omega ruby

Hi, I was wondering someone can recommend or write a tutorial how to edit textures for Pokemon omega ruby. I have dumped and extracted my game and know how to view the files in ohana3ds, just need to know to how to edit, what program i need to use for editing and the do's and don't for editing. If there is already a tutorial in English, please let me know.
